EV Ready USA

About EV Ready USA

We get property owners talking to licensed EV charging installers, and we publish what the public record says about charging in every state and DC.

What we do

Somebody with a building wants chargers in the parking lot. They tell us about the property, we find them an installer who is licensed for the work and certified on the hardware, and the installer takes it from there. That is the whole business.

What we don't do

We are not a contractor. We do no electrical work, we hold no contractor's license, and we never design, quote or price a job. We are not in the agreement you sign. Anything on your project that costs money gets quoted by the installer doing the work, and they answer for it.

Why the data is on here

The Department of Energy keeps a public record of where charging exists and what programs are on the books. It's free, it's good, and it's close to unreadable unless you already know your way around it. So we lay it out state by state and city by city, with the source next to every figure and the date we pulled it sitting at the top of the page.

Sometimes that record is out of date and we can prove it. When that happens we take the entry off the page instead of printing it with a warning attached. A tax credit that got repealed last year has no business sitting on a page somebody is budgeting against.

The other site

EV-Ready Hotel is ours. Same people, and it covers hotels and guest charging.
